Peepshow Art Gallery is a curated art space in Bruges, founded by artist and gallerist
Sophie Van den Berghe.
The gallery showcases painting, objects, and visual narratives in a poetic, intimate setting - both personal and collaborative.
In addition to its core program, the gallery welcomes guest artists whose practices enrich and expand our dialogue with contemporary art.

Artist Wannes VanwijnsbergheWannes Vanwijnsberghe (1992) creates paintings in which figuration, ornament and abstraction continually shift roles. Some works centre on a single, almost iconic motif, while others unfold through multiple scenes and perspectives.Frames, grids, passages and decorative structures become active elements within the paintings. They guide and interrupt the gaze, shaping space, light and tension. Working with found and manipulated imagery, Vanwijnsberghe allows each painting to develop through improvisation, trial and error, and control.Recurring themes such as time, finitude, searching and getting lost remain deliberately open-ended. His paintings suggest that something is happening—or has just happened—without revealing a fixed narrative. The result is both alluring and unsettling: visually compelling, yet never fully explained.The exhibition will be on view at Peepshow Gallery
